Biography

Graduated both The Dunia Weisman and the Jerusalem music conservatories as a classical pianist,

Gil also studied composition and orchestration at Juilliard and Mannes College in New York, and coached privately by Dr. Rudolph Palmer.

With an extensive background in theatrical and television/film productions, Gil’s various career credits include arranging for the HBO feature 'Twisted', the feature Izik Finkelstein’s Revenge (1993 Best Picture/Best Soundtrack recipient at the Israeli Academy Awards), scoring the stage play 'The False Witness’ directed by Arthur Hiller (Valerie Harper, James Cromwell, Larry Miller, George Segal), composing, recording and arranging scores for the feature ‘The Perpetrator’, the Telly award-winning soundtrack of ‘Secrets of India’, TV series ‘Knight Beat’, arranged and conducted 2 off-Broadway shows, performance and arrangement for the Basel Symphony Orchestra of Switzerland, The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, and more.

Gil enjoys working on musical projects at both ends of the spectrum from studio and network financed projects to commercials, websites, interactive games, and DVDs.
